Urge Pueblo City Councilors to Reintroduce the Federal Abortion Law Ordinance
What Is the Ordinance?
It would require the city of Pueblo to adhere to the Comstock Act, a federal law that prohibits the mailing and receiving of abortion-inducing drugs and paraphernalia.
This would ban abortion in Pueblo, shutting down the late-term clinic that opened in 2023 as a result of state law making abortion legal through all nine months of pregnancy.
There is a majority on city council to pass this ordinance, but they face intense opposition from opponents of the ordinance.

The women of Pueblo deserve better. Unregulated abortion and unregulated clinics have no place in Pueblo, Home of the Heroes who fought for our lives, freedom, and safety.
